The Office of Faculty and Staff Diversity supports the development and implementation of infrastructure, policies and communication channels to ensure the holistic integration of equity and inclusion in everything we do, across and within all campus units.

Diversity Councils

Diversity Liaisons are established in section 7.0 of the Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity section of the Senate Policy File to serve as liaison between the Chief Diversity Officer and their units, including offering informal advice and counseling to their peers and reporting to the Chief Diversity Officer on existing and new diversity initiatives within their respective units

Diversity Planning

“LET IT BE RESOLVED, that San Diego State University creates a campus-wide diversity plan and that all academic and administrative units/divisions also create individual diversity plans that are congruent with the University plan. The University shall provide training and support for developing these plans. This requirement shall be in place by the year 2020.”
